Simplicam Review

In spite of the Simplicam’s lower-quality video, it is overall the best choice because it’s easy to install and use, video camera it establishes a stable connection with your Wi-Fi, and it has a decent night vision range.

The Simplicam internet protocol camera is the best IP camera we tested. The camera’s setup and installation was easier than any other camera we tested and reviewed. Although it has lower video resolution than other internet cameras we tested, it produces clear images in color when there’s enough light in the room. In our first video test with the Simplicam, we noted how much of the room the camera can capture. Its field of view is smaller than many of its competitors, but 107 degrees is still a generous breadth. The clarity is decent, though not the best of the cameras we tested. When there’s a lot of light in the camera’s field of view, the overall quality is good, but you can’t quite make out details only 16 feet away.

Low light doesn’t affect the image quality much – the detail you can see on the video and still images taken by this internet camera is about the same in low-light and well-lit conditions. Once the lights go out, ip camera 1080P  though, so does the color video, so you see less detail. However, the invisible LEDs illuminate the room well enough that you can identify a person in the video.

We tested this camera and found its latency to be exceptionally responsive. You are likely to experience a bit of lag with your connection from time to time with any Wi-Fi camera, but it wasn’t a problem with the Simplicam. You can digitally zoom in or out to see video at up to three times magnification.

With the Simplicam, hd ip camera you get two-way audio, which means you can hear what’s going on in the room you’re monitoring, and through the mobile app, you can speak directly to anyone in that room. This feature lets you use the Simplicam as a security camera at your front door, trained on your valuables, or to monitor your child’s nursery or playroom. The Simplicam’s audio features also include sound detection, so you can choose to have the camera record only when it hears audio in the room. This camera also uses motion detection, ptz ip camera  so you can set the camera to record only when it senses movement.
